Old Troll

My old faithful Christmas ornament! Trolly has been with us for quite some time now, and as ugly as he is, I can't seem to throw him to the curb... Even when he's next to my lovely Hallmark Shoe Tree ornament...

The Pollution never Ends...

I argued with myself extensively before choosing to post this picture. I chose it over the daytime shots I got because I think it illustrates just how production and the pollution that results from it never really stops or even slows down.

Scap Metal

Environmental pet peeve

I'm well aware that this entry brings no photographic genius to the table but I wanted to post something so here we go. I cannot describe how much it bothers me to see all these silly papers distributed every day - and for what??? - so we can see another unflattering candid of Britney Spears?? It's a messy, dirty waste of natural resources; you get my point....
I also think it's a better idea than plastering a photo of McDonald's on here and calling it "Body Pollution" - which was my first idea :)

Our Hero... Gone but never forgotten.

I am sure you are all a little confused by my photo, a bear? What does this bear dressed in camo have to do with Remembrance Day? This bear is a symbol of a very close friend of ours that was killed in Afghanistan on July 4th of this year. We made this bear to take with us on some final outings that we will all use, as our version of a final goodbye. In the end the bear will be given to our friends daughter, whom he only was able to spend four days with before shipping off. That is the story of the bear and why it serves as my reminder of those that lost their life and served.
